About Evan
Evan was born in Indianapolis to a school teacher and a small business owner. He grew up near 52nd and College, and in Westfield, and attended the University of Indianapolis.
However, after several years, Evan left college to join the U.S. Navy as an Intelligence Specialist, where he served around the country and the world for eight years, including in Operation Iraqi Freedom.

After being honorably discharged from active duty, Evan returned to college where he completed his Bachelor's and Master of Business Administration degrees.
Evan then went to work in public service, for the Bureau of Motor Vehicles, as a Section 8 and Public Housing caseworker, and then later for the State of Indiana, where he managed housing and community development grants.
After several years in the public sector, Evan started his own consulting practice, and currently advises public sector and non-profit clients on process and technology improvement and efficiency. He also serves as a volunteer with local homeless outreach ministries, and on the Citizens Police Complaint Board, which provides civilian oversight to the Indianapolis Metropolitan Police Department.
Evan is a member of the American Legion, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, Indiana Freemasons, the Association of Former Intelligence Officers, and the Wyoming Antelope Club. In 2019, he ran for the Indianapolis City-County Council.
